Freelancing

Molly has worked as a freelance writer, editor, and policy researcher with various news outlets as well as non-profits and think tanks. Her work has taken a human rights focus both within the U.S. and internationally, particularly on gender equity and sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice. Her services include:

  • Freelance Writing and Editing: Write, edit, and peer review articles, op-eds, and policy briefs
  • Research and Policy Analysis: Conduct and write up research and policy analysis projects using an array of methodologies including qualitative research (conducting semi-structured interviews, survey design and analysis, and comparative case studies), legislative tracking and coding, public records research, desk reviews (in English and Spanish), process tracing, opposition research, and basic quantitative analysis

She has previously worked in these capacities with organizations including Rights CoLab, Blossom, and Next100, UN agencies, as well as with academics. Molly has also worked as a freelance writer on domestic and international policy/politics, taking on writing assignments including op-eds, policy briefs, editorials, and long-form reports and journal articles.
